Located in the Mandla and Balaghat districts of Madhya Pradesh, Kanha National Park is one of India’s largest and most picturesque tiger reserves. Spanning over 940 sq. km, it was established in 1955 and declared a Tiger Reserve in 1973 under Project Tiger. Kanha’s lush sal and bamboo forests, vast meadows, and serene rivers and streams create an unforgettable landscape that inspired Rudyard Kipling’s famous “The Jungle Book.”
